Dr Suriya Jayawardena (Dr Jay)did his Residency training in Internal Medicine at Coney Island Hospital, New York. He won several awards during his residency including Outstanding Achievement Award in Research.
He did his Cardiovascular (Cardiology) Fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center, New York. He then did Subspecialty Fellowship Training in Interventional Cardiology and Peripheral Vascular Interventions at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr Jay is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology and Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC).
Dr Jay has several publications in peer reviewed medical journals.
His training and skills include the full spectrum of Coronary Interventions, Peripheral Vascular Interventions as well as general Consultative Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiography.

Dr Selvaratnam Sinna (Dr. Sinna) completed his Residency training in Internal Medicine at Coney Island Hospital, Brooklyn, New York. He was awarded Best Graduating Resident in Internal Medicine and went on to serve as Chief Medical Resident of the Internal Medicine Residency Program. He won several other awards during his residency including the Virginia Nash Medical Scholarship for outstanding Medical resident.
Dr. Sinna did his fellowship training in Cardiovascular Diseases at Coney Island Hospital and at NYPH Cornell Medical Center. He completed final year of his fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at Maimonides Medical Center, New York.
Dr. Sinna is board-certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Nuclear Cardiology and Internal Medicine. He is also board certified in adult echocardiography and Peripheral Vascular Sonography (RPVI). He is a fellow of the both American College of Cardiology (FACC) and the American Society of Echocardiography (FASE), and an active member of American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography(ARDMS).
Dr .Sinna has several publications in peer reviewed medical journals.
After completing his Cardiovascular fellowship, Dr. Sinna served as teaching attending and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Coney Island Hospital for five years. Under his guidance, several Internal Medicine residents and Cardiology fellows graduated with exceptional marks, and he was awarded Best Teaching Attending Physician.
Dr. Sinna has 30 years of clinical experience in internal medicine and more than 13 years of experience in cardiology practice. His training and skills include the full spectrum of Coronary angiography, general Consultative Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography and Peripheral Vascular Sonography.
